Dear Elva,

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am not having a good day. I am

having alot of stress due to my children and I noticed that my BG's have

been high. Of course, as luck would have it, I went out to start my car

and it is dead (after everyone else left for the day) and I could not

get to work. I am sure this is a blessing in disguise and I have a

chance to catch up with myself and rest for a while. I am not on

medication and think that maybe I should be. I have an appointment with

the diabetic nurse today. I will not see my doctor for three months. My

morning BG's were about 130 and the doctor said that was OK and we would

reevaluate during the next visit. Now I am having 155 or so and it is a

vicious cyle for me with the numbers causing stress and stress causing

the rise in numbers. It is making me so upset.

I am low carbing and lost 10 pounds but since the intial loss have not

lost more. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I walk every evening. I

guess it will be best for me to go on medication. I was trying to avoid

it. I don't know what to do. I know I have to give myself more time with

this but I guess I am going through a frustrating period. I wonder if

the Kava Kava can help me with the daily stress that I put on myself. I

thought I was doing the best thing by keeping the carbs low but the

number fluctuate so much. Who knows? I could use any advise. Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words . I am going to try the herb if I can find

it. In fact, I think I will also order it from greentree. Thanks you so

much for the information. I am feeling alot better. I think I just got

tired of the " fight " and wished that I did not have diabetes. I just

wanted it to go away. I suppose there are days like that in everyone. I

am very lucky when I read some of the letters. I know I will learn to

live with it. Thanks to everyone on the list for your kind words and

help.

you get through this period and isn't it good that though we all experience such

stress. Maybe it can help you to. I have not experienced any rise in bg because

of kava so I think that it's ok for diabetics - if your bg is fluctuating much -

I don't know - I would off course not recommend anything that could hurt you,

but it's really a mild herb so I don't think that you should worry about that at

all - it eliminates stress and if your bg rises because of stress it may

actually fall, because kava helps you relax etc. But try for your selv - and

measure etc. This herb actually works! That's what surprised me when I tried it

first. I've always been suspicious towards alternative medicine, because I have

never really experienced any notable effect from those that I have tried.

Finally, there are so many different types and qualities of kava kava out there

- learn about the product before you buy it. I have ordered from

www.greentree.com - and received 4 glasses of kava kava capsules from them

yesterday, so

is so much like me. I am asking everyone to pray for her today they have found a blood clot in her leg. She is having tests as we speak. This is breaking my heart. Please pray. God Bless You Ginger, I know he does because your prayers are just beautiful and bless my soul. Love Peggy

Lord Jesus, Lover of our souls. we come before you humbly with praise and worship for all the things You have done and the things You are going to do. You know Peggy's heart, the heart of a mother concerned for her child. The same love and heart You have for us, Your children. We ask that You reach out Your healing hand and touch this day, from the top of her head to the very bottom of her feet. Father God show these physicians how to address this affliction. What is the very best way to dissolve this clot. Guide and direct the tests and consultations. Give , Peggy and their precious family peace and comfort in knowing You have everything under control. We pray an encampment of angels arround , and trust in You and the power of prayer. Your Word tells us that You are able to keep that which is committed to You. We commit this situation to You in its fullness. And thank You for the answer even now. The fervent prayers of a righteous person availeth much. I thank You, God, for Peggys fevent prayers and faith in You for her family and the group. We give You all honor and praise for answered prayers throughout our group and their families. In the Name of Jesus Christ.

Amen and Amen

kiss kiss,

~Ginger~
