Hi, I was just wondering if anyone out there is scheduled for July 30? I

know I have a buddy out there, but don't know who she is.

Does anyone know what else is good post op besides water? I hate water and I

know you can get dehydrated afterward if not drinking enough. Also, what

kind of diet. I remember saying not to have mexican food, so I

will definately keep away from that. Probably clear broth and crackers for a

while. I guess jello too.

I really wanted to see Louisville afterwards with my friend, but I doubt I'll

be doing that. Perhaps another time.

Thanks all

I threw up once right after post op. I was being wheeled over to the

next recovery area the nurse took the curves very fast. I threw up

a little after that ride but not anymore after that.

I took sprite with me. Forget the water..........

I ate vanilla wafers, crackers and things like that the first night in the

motel room the day surgery. I also ate Papa 's bread sticks.

I really wanted a baked potato but hubby had to leave to go to work

so I didn't get one. My belly was fine......

I didn't have a lot of gas but more after I was home a couple of days.

Good luck.
