Guest guest Posted June 25, 2007 Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 I have a question about mold and Lyme's. We had a moldy house 4 years ago. Last week I got bit in 2 spots from a tick. (My leg and my stomach) I have crawly feelings on the skin of my legs, I have a big rash on my stomach now for one week. (it itches) It doesn't have the classic bulls eye circle but does look similar to some rashes I have looked on line. Went to the doc, and he put me on Minocycline 100 mg for 10 days. I have searched on line and can't get the answer to my question. Wondering if anyone here knows the answer or where to find the answer to my question. Question: Is Minocycline 100 mg for 10 days going to get rid of the potential Lyme's disease? I have lupus and was exposed to high amounts of mold spores 4 years ago. I thought you had to be antibiotics for at least 21 days if there was the potential for Lyme's? Thank you!
