Guest guest
California tenants, if you have gotten mycotoxin tests and found specific mycotoxins in a building I just was thinking that a landlord probably must post a sign about them. The list is here: http://www.oehha.ca.gov/prop65/prop65_list/files/060107LST.pdf *This does not apply to spore testing* (this is what they say on their website, but its because spore presence does not necessarily mean toxins) however, if you have done toxin testing and found the toxins they DO have to post a sign, from my reading of the law. If you are a tenant or ex-tenant and you have toxin test results you should check with your local Health and building Depts, first, make sure they have copies the test results on file, then, send a copy of them, along with a copy of Prop 65 and the list, to your landlord and the Health and Building depts by registered mail.
