Hospital officials discovered the problem in this particular oncology ward during routine testing and proceeded to clean the ducts, but further testing showed little improvement, forcing the relocation. A hospital spokesperson says the fungus is no danger to anyone with the proper antibodies, but these young patients have very fragile immune systems and doctors didn't want to take any chances.
