If we are on duty and have the chance it has to be approved by the comm supervisor on duty and a patrol supervisor. On duty time is limited to four hours and we are normally required to ride with a fto or supervisor. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - > We have a landmark in either Marietta or Atlanta (not sure who's > jurisdiction..maybe Toni can help me) that is called the " Big Chicken --------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had two officers on an extradition trip to Dayton Ohio, one of whom was origionally from there. They had parked by a big chicken sign and were inside. It was a bar. A Dayton unit seeing our unit there ran the tag, our dpt received a tty wanting to know if we had had a unit stolen. Our guys never did live that one down. One of them is a major now. He is also the guy who didn't realize his wife had got out of their van while on vacation and left her at a rest stop in Alabama.
