Guest guest
I was thinking if you took more more would be releasing over the time releaser period. Seems logical to me, but I don't know. When I have a busy day, and am well enough to HAVE one of those, LOL, I can forget doses, which can throw me off track quite a noticeable amoutn. I haven't tried triyotex yet, don't know if I ever will, but I thought a time release might be a good idea for me. Like today, my doses are all messed up, because I had a big shopping trip to do in the next town, and while I remembered to take my meds, I forgot to take my timer, so I essentially missed a dose of thyroid and HC, and took them about 2 hours late. I've tried to fit in all the subsequent doses by shortening the interval between those doses, but I'm not really certain that is a very good idea. It seems like putting doses too close together (2 hours) could be too stressful on adrenals, and might cause me to sleep even worse than usual. Or I can stay up later for my last dose, and miss my " window " for falling asleep, which for me results in disaster. You can see why I would like to think a slow release thyroid med would be a good idea. LOL, sol TUbbs wrote: > If you dose more Triyotex (which is slow release), how would that > work?? I am still trying to get to my best dose of thyroid, and now have plenty of cynomel on hand so it will be months before I need to decide on trying triyotex. It sounds like the triyotex needs to be swallowed, well, duh, I didn't think of that as a complication either. Is it a capsule or a tablet? I always take my thyroid med sublingually or buccally, so that alone may rule out a trial of triyotex for me. Can't believe I didn't think about that issue. sol
