If I recall correctly he said that the species of mold that produce biotoxins are not usually the same species that infect the body. His feeling is that it is more unusual to see a patient who has both biotoxin illness and systemic fungal infections. I think there are also some specific symptoms that are different when infection is present but I am not versed in the differences, nor am I a doctor.
