I HATE MONDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, so today was Wednesday- it was our rotation's

monday.................

yesterday afternoon they started handing out our new

patrol cars ...patrolmen in wonderful humor (sing

with me here " i've got a new car, nenenene, i've got a

new car " .....heard all over the parking lot...)

so we come to work at 5 am today and whamo !!

3 shots fired at ofcrs AND new cars in our parking

lot!!!

unfortunately by the time the guys got into the cars,

after having to hit the gravel, the idiot with the

..357 had gotten under the train trestle and

disappeared on us............

the good news is no one got hurt and no damage was

done to the units (oh thank god, breathed admin), but

it gives you pause when it happens in a semi rural

town...no law enforcement ofcr is truly safe out there

anymore......even in the sticks............

just the thought (and vent) for the day

ps- we do have an idea who the suspect is..he's going

to be VERY shocked when we get warrants for attempted

first degreee murder of 3 police officers.....
