Hi All,

I have to put a plug in for L.L. Bean, Jeff works there. I used to use

their hunting boot but found they are slippery on ice. I have since

gone with a hiking boot with Gortex and Thinsulate. It is the Knifedge

boot, and it can be ordered from the comfort of your home at

www.llbean.com. The all leather ones are $119.00 and insulated ones are

$125.00. I just have the cloth and leather ones and I love them, I

think those are around $89.00. Have fun shopping.

hey Kathleen,

somewhere they sell these strap on, " cleats " , or cleat like things , that

go right around

any shoe.

I wouldn't wanna walk on a nice wood floor with 'em but I saw them

somewhere. and if

you ever walked across a frozen pond , and found that really smooth spot,

that you just can't seem to stand on.

Somebody has to still sell these things.
