Guest guest
I'm new to the group and I joined because I have high reverse t3. So I am going to convert to Cytomel, per Val's instructions. However I am a little nervous about doing so because I'm afraid that my free t3 will shoot up to high and make me hyper. Everything I've read about thyroid hormone resistance usually says the person has high free t4 and low free t3 but that is not the case with me. I have high free t4 and free t3. So I'm afraid that being on all Cytomel will make my free t3 go up even higher. My doctor said he wanted to check it in about three weeks to make sure that wasn't happening and if it was, he will cancel my prescription. Here are my latest labs. Antithyroglobulin AB 939 High Range: 0-40 Free T4 1.78 High Range: .61-1.76 Reverse T3 454 High Range: 90-350 Free T3 5.5 High Range: 2.3-4.2 Val, I know you've already looked at these and said to convert to Cytomel but could you please take a look at them again and take into consideration that my free t3 is already pretty high. If anyone else has anything to add, please chime in. I don't want to blow this because my doctor said if it works, he will do this for all of his patients. Thanks for your help everyone!
