Risk Management? The " risk " is really to do damage control.

You already compromised the principal with your report.

Spending more on legal defense than on your claim is no surprise.

Some might be on the payroll just to do damage control.

It means you are doing your job to report. They are worried if they

are fighting you. Trust your gut and thank God you don't have cancer.

It might be God's way of rewarding you for speaking up for the kids and the

other staff.

In my sick school I called risk management and told him about the

children's reactions and my reactions. He told me that it was up to

the principal to close the classroom.I called the EPA in SF and they

said my district had been thoroughly trained in IAQ issues and was

shocked that the risk management director would pass the buck. The

children and teachers are still in the building minus one teacher who

has recently died. Where is the accountability?!!! I'm in year three

worker's comp. Not one dime paid out. They are spending more money on

lawyers to deny me than to compensate my injury.
