Guest guest
>>Val, after months or maybe years of t3 therapy only, should the rt3 be zero? Does it ever go away completely or are we looking for something within range and with a good ratio to our ft3? What would continue to make it if we are suppressing our own thyroid and not taking any t4...do you know?<< I would look gfor good and low in range and the ratio to be good which is MOST important. I am not sure why oyu wuld continue ot have any, but it could mean you are stil a bit hypo and your thyroid is stil making T4. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Please replenish my brain cells. What does RT3 measure?? What tests should I request. I'm taking 60 mcg of t-3 and an over the counter supplement of Raw Thyroid By Natural Sources. Have never taken any T4 meds, nor any Armour. Thanks in advance, Kc in AZ
Guest guest
RT3 is Reverses T3 whihc is a hormone that binds to T (active thyroid hormone) receptors and doesn;lt do anything but block the real T3 form binding to those receptors it neds to enter the cells. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

I also believe high cortiso is a major cause of cortisol resistance as is high progesterone. Are you certain your progesterone is nto too high now that you need estrogen too?-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WVhttp://www.stopthet hyroidmadness. com/http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ NaturalThyroidHo rmonesADRENALS/http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/
