Region 17's Annual Autism Conference In collaboration with the Burkhart Center Date: June 6th & 7th, 2012 Location: Region 17 ESC 1111 W. Loop 289 Lubbock, TX 79416 This is a two-day conference on Autism Spectrum Disorders which will feature peer-reviewed, research-based strategies for use in the home and school environments. Well-respected, nationally and locally known speakers will cover topics of interest including: behavior, social skills, communication, sensory issues, transition and various others. Participants will be provided with current research and applicable, hands-on strategies. All Region 17 parents of school-aged individuals with an ASD who are wishing to attend should contact Barbara s at for instructions on how to register.
