Guest guest Posted July 20, 2007 Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 After avoiding mold like the plague, we find that an error in our current home resulted in water infiltration. My breathing problems have been aggravated. Fortunately, it's not a huge area and the contractor is sending a remediator. He plans to use what appears to us to be all the correct approaches--containment, negative air, air scrubbers, removal of all materials both contaminated and surrounding the contamination, and treatment of remaining surfaces.
