Guest guest
We get a 1/2 hr and 2 - 15's. Most of us on afternoons don't take the 15s but we can get up and leave and take a walk or get something to eat, like pop some corn. We have a full fridge, microwave, pizza oven and vending machines, rest rooms, TV right outside our door and in our little lounge so we are pretty lucky in that sense. In my opinion everyone should be able to get away from the room for at least a 30 mins break. It clears your head and makes you feel better emotionally and physically whether you realize it or not it makes a difference to get a break. Guest guest
<<You also can't compare our jobs to theirs. It's like comparing apples to oranges.>> I disagree...especially when it comes to lunch. It's true we do different jobs, but their job is no more important than ours. They are no more entitled to a hot lunch than I am just because they're driving a city car. We work 12 straight hours and are not paid to eat lunch...neither are they so why should they get privileges?
