Guest guest
This is priceless! " I don't know where I went " is excellent and likely a very apt dilemma we all share. I was recently thinking that I miss that person I was before I lived in that MOLDY apartment. I MISS me! And yes, a landlord is not above re-renting a toxic unit. After all, it's the tenant's tough luck. Thanks for the laugh................Betsy unitedstatesvet <unitedstatesvet@...> wrote: Just thought I would share this with the world. I just recieved a phone call informing me that my landlord whom I have a lawsuit against and after the house I was exposed in has been sitting empty for at least a year now, that is after he rented it out once after I moved out, now has it up for rent again. This is with complete knowledge that he is being sued and that I am ill. I am beside myself, no behind myself, wait.. I don't know where I went. Guest guest
Until laws specify that mold is illegal it won't be. If you are injured and you are a homeowner and your million dollar home is a complete loss you mightbe able to get a lawyer, but if you are a renter its very difficult. Not impossible, but 99 out of 100 would have problems.. or even more than that. Your income before illness would need to be very high. Your illness would have to be obvious. And there would have to be doctors saying that without a doubt the illness was caused by the mold, ignoring all the threats against them. THIS ALL NEEDS TO HAPPEN IN AN UNREALISTIC AMOUNT OF TIME.... Guest guest
How about staying in a resort that was tested two years prior, showing every bad mold in there and still putting people in it including children. If they now one person gets sick, I don't care if its just allergy symptoms. To me that's criminal recklessness and endangerment unitedstatesvet <unitedstatesvet@...> wrote: Just thought I would share this with the world. Guest guest
That is precisly the case. He had rented it one other time after I left but I was able to show them the reports and they left. The landlords comment was " I am sick of hearing about all this mold stuff and let them leave. But now a month after my case was filed he has put it up for rent again. I have to believe this will be problematic in his future. P.S. That second renters son was sleeping in the roon that was the worst and had stacky in those walls and airbourne. a Townsend <kmtown2003@...> wrote: How about staying in a resort that was tested two years prior, showing every bad mold in there and still putting people in it including children. Guest guest
You left one out Live - YOU CAN'T DIE... no matter what they tell you, that's a serious hindrance to filing a case (or one being filed on your behalf). ~Haley
Guest guest
Same for all the schools that have problems. They have them tested, the results return positive for molds which the school then says aren't high enough to be harmful. They never send the reports home to parents or staff and tell everyone that everything is fine and there is nothing to worry about. But they do rip out a few rugs and walls, then clean with bleach and add some paint and school stays open!! Scares me to deaths thinking about all the children that will be very sick in years to come. That is precisly the case.
