Guest guest
Bad night here but Jeanine I just wanted to say this for others here mainly because I know you already know this. As far as eye problems with exposure, I have found nothing but brick walls either explaining to anyone, or getting anyone to acknowlege, agree etc. with me about my vision issues. This is what I know from my experience. Before I was exposed I had 20/20 in capitol numbers. I was a locksmith and had to se very small numbers, pins, parts etc. I vever used a magnifine glass or anything else to read these things or do my job. Everyone gave parts to me to read them for them. I was asked what the sign ahead said. You get the picture. Since the exposure issue I have had my glasses changed three times. One eye is near sighted and the other far. I can see with them on but have to use reading glasses to read, not my glasses. No one seems to have a logical explination for this other than those of us here that know what the problem is. I can also tell at times when my vision seems to change is certai situations. I am still not convinced that my dogs instant blindness is not related but that is another issue) All the above was never an issue until the exposure period...... People, doctors, experts, whoever can say or write all they want to on this subject but 2+2 will always equal 4, unless of course you want to put some mathmatical spin on it then you can make it add up to whatever you want but the facts are still the same. Just my 2 cents. Add two more pennys and you will get 4cents, you can take that to the bank.... who <jeaninem660@...> wrote: a search " fungal keratitis from systemic illness " shows lots of possab;e effects from systemic illness. also " ophthalmic mycoses " ophthalmic mycoses http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi? & artid=207127 Life is a balance of holding on and letting go... --------------------------------- Need a vacation? Guest guest
I vote Jeanine the best reseacher in our group! I always learn so much from the articles you provide Jeanine. Keep em coming! I too have hit brick walls with the eye issues since exposure. Have tried approx. 15 antibiotic and steroid drops prescribed from various physicians without any permanent healing.Every time I ask an opthomologist if they see evidence of fungal issues they say no, or we really don't know what molds do to the eyes, or go to an infectious disease doctor because you do have a lot of inflammation in the lids and bumps under the lids. All of these responses have left my eyes still extremely sore and painful three years later.I'm trying a silver product now which was rec. to me by a local doctor. So far it seems to bring temporary relief but the pain comes back if I don't use it at least three times a day. VERY frustrating. I may try to bring in Jeanine's article next time I see an opthomologist.I think this strategy is a good one if you have a doctor willing to discuss and reflect on the article and get back to you. I found that true when I brought in research on HHV6 and the chronic fatigue connection. The doctor read the article and tested me for this and I came up with high positives so I wouldn't give up on trying to ask doctors to consider the literature you present to them. Many of us have co infections/multiple system compromises which must be dealt with.

Guest guest
I still have a problem with my eyes, but much less than when I was newly ill. My eye dr sent me to a specialist-Retina Consultants-not far from Dr Shoe in MD. There were 2 Drs there and I do not remember which one I saw- he knew all about the mold eye problems- " a potent nuero- toxin " were his words-he gave me every test to confirm that I had no disease of the eye-took a VCS to establish a base line- his perscription was to continue taking CSM to detox and to stay away from mold and my eyes would get as good as they could be.Some Drs understand the problem. > As far as eye problems with exposure, I have found nothing but brick walls either explaining to anyone, or getting anyone to acknowlege, agree etc. with me about my vision issues.
