Today Show: An Obesity virus?

On the Today Show featured a story on research showing their is a link

between " the sniffles " and obesity. This brings to mind something

other than a virus to me, but...!

Googling topic I found numerous studies looking into the connection

between these two and the results are that they are assuming a virus

of " some type " ...you know what I am thinking...is causing obesity.

One concluded that perhaps the virus slows down one's metabolism.

However I think this may be the body producing fat to store toxins in

from " whatever " pathogen they have (I can think of a few)that produce

toxins.
