Hi guys,

I have a question here from a mom who emailed me privately, but used to be on

the list. I didn't have experience here, but I remember some of your kids

having their tonsils and adenoids out, so if you could help me this mom out,

I'll forward her your responses.

Thanks in advance guys, you're great. Here's the question:

I don't know if you remember me but I was on the charge list for a while.

I am not on the list now but I have a question. is two and a

half and had choanal atresia. (repaired after 10 surgeries)

I was wondering if Kennedy has had her tonsils or adenoids out.

's tonsils are so large that she stops breathing for short

periods at night. The ENT want to take them out but he is concerned

because of her anatomy ie choanal atresia and the different structure.

I was just wondering if you know of anyone with choanal atresia who had

complications when they had their tonsils or adenoids out.

I would appreciate it very much if you could ask the list re t/a. The ENT

is concerned about the tonsils holding up the palate and if they took them

out there will be a problem with her speech. They say her tonsils are very

large and that what is causing her apnea.

Mom to Kennedy 19 mos old CHARGEr, 10, 8, and wife to Graeme
