Toxins are diverse lot and they cause all sorts of damage.. Some parts of

the body can repair damage but there always is a cost and often that damage

is permanent. For example, the reason people age is that DNA damage,

oxidative damage, etc. builds up over time and is cumulative.. Those damages

are similar to some of the damages done by some mycotoxins..

The reason people need to get them out of the body is so they will stop

doing damage.. Some people may be able to make recoveries to various degrees

but its probably more typical for there to be all different kinds of damage,

and some of it is permanent. Also the body sacrifices important cells while

it is dealing with toxins that also has a price.. Some 'progenitor' cells

are finite in number and they get used up.. Several mycotoxins damage

progenitor cells on a massive scale.. (trichothecenes, ochratoxin A, etc.)

Also the act of detoxifying toxins has a cost to the body.. The reason why

many people end up with liver, kidney, GI tract, lymphatic (immune system)

issues is because those are the defenses that the body marshalls in removing

toxins.. and in the process those organs often get damaged.. Some of those

toxins are so powerful that every living cell they come into contact with

pays a price in its health.. many die..

Diane,

I think he means some kinds of damage are cumulative in that suppose

you have ten fingers and I chop off one. Then you have nine. Then if I

chop off another, then you have eight.

Even if you move away at that point, you will still only have eight fingers.

Barring some major new discovery, you cant grow them back. You may

figure out ways to cope with only having eight, but you still have

eight.

Thats what he means by cumulative. That once you get into permanent

damage land, that that damage accumulates, like scars do, for example,

on people.

The kind of damage that many of us have is definitely that kind of damage..
