Guest guest
Because this is a mold support group what I am about to say is based on mold exposure and my personal experience as well as my daughter's experience. I have a profound knowing that the mold (mycotoxins, trichothecenes, stachy, aspergillus, etc. or whatever or however you want to classify them or call them) in my apartment that my daughter and I have been exposed to caused the breakdown of our immune system which then caused the chronic infections (whether it be herpes, yeast, sinus, etc.), the chronic fatigue (CFS, Fibromyalgia, etc.), the hormone imbalances (rashes, reproductive issues, menstrual abnormalities, endometriosis, cysts, infertility, etc.), the central nervous system problems, etc. (headaches, migraines, dizziness, blurred vision, memory loss, etc.) and the digestive problems (IBS, gastritis, constipation, diarrhea, etc.)...... It's the " domino-effect " . I also know that my grandmother, who has Alzheimer's / Dementia, has all the similar signs and symptoms as someone who has been exposed to mold (as mentioned above) and my other grandmother who died of cancer had all the same or similar signs and symptoms of mold exposure. I also know that there are those who are more susceptible than others to mold exposure just as Dr. Shoemaker explains in his book. But I also know that you do not have to be only young, old or severely ill (aids, cancer, etc.) to be one of the so-called susceptible people. You simply have to have a weakened immunity (allergies, any medication that will suppress your immune system even taken for a short time, a cold, the flu, etc. will all weaken your immune system). And if you have a weakened immunity then you stand no chance against " toxic mold " and especially if you have the so-called dreaded gene that Dr. Shoe talks about. This is why you can have two people living in the same moldy environment and yet only one will become ill. Since we all know that mold is a fungus and fungi cause infections and infections cause immune suppression and/or weakening and immune suppression and/or weakening leads to a vulnerability to all illnesses or DIS-EASES then why do we not believe or suspect that all or most DIS-EASES may have a connection to fungi or our environment? I believe that all DIS-EASES are more likely than not caused by our environment and not from genetics. There must be something that causes genes to become misformed or overproduced or non-existent, etc. We can go through history and see that genetics are not the culprit; how did a specific gene begin to mutate and change in the first place? Something must have caused the mutation of the gene, right? So, what would that something be; other than environmental? It's not our genes that changed first it's our environment that changed first which then can cause mutation of our genes which then can lead to " genetic " DIS-EASES. IT'S ALL ENVIRONMENTAL! (cancer, autism, chronic fatigue syndrome, allergies, Alzheimer's, multiple chemical sensitivity, multiple sclerosis, bi-polar, depression, mycoses, mycotoxicosis, etc, all have an environmental factor whether it's from food, chemicals, fungi, air, water, vaccinations, etc.) I know there are a lot who will question this and may not agree but I ask that you think about this carefully before automatically dismissing it as being wrong. Just ask yourself this question: What causes a gene to mutate and change? Is it a " natural " change, an environmental change or a " genetic " change? And in what order do these changes take place? And environmental changes can cause genetic changes but genetic changes don't cause environmental changes. If Adam and Eve were the first two humans on Earth, if cancer, autism, etc. are genetic then wouldn't Adam and Eve have autism, cancer, etc.; it would have been passed down from them. Some kind of way there was a mutation. What caused the mutation? Perhaps the environment? There's a lot out there that we just don't know or understand, yet, but soon we will.
