Guest guest
Long-term use of steroids also causes bone loss. I hope you get off the steroids soon--with your doctor's advice.
Guest guest
Well, check out what Dr Shoemaker says about them on those pages to see if you agree and if circumstances he is referring to apply to you. Second see Dr Rae or another mold doctor about it. I would hate to advise you on how to come off of steroids or whether to or not. However, I think the right away to come off of any medication that has withdrawal problems is very slowly. I know that is obvious but worth repeating. The slower you go, the better for your body. If you decide to do that, I would take things to pump up your immune system. If necessary you can have a pharmacy compound drugs to make a dose lower than you could get by merely cutting your tablets in half, or taking the lowest dose manufactured by pharmaceutical company. You may want to arrange for something like that. --- In , jane mosher <janeannmosher@...> wrote: > > and all my allergies are worse. how do i quit them???? >
Guest guest
very slowly; and you will most likely have withdrawal symptoms.... note: I am no doctor, so check with your doctor first > > > I've also gotten very depressed and can't move and gained 100 pounds > > from steroids. > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Choose the right car based on your needs. Guest guest
I've been on & off steroids numerous times for my lungs & skin; longest time on 8 months. I've always had a hard time coming off them, even with a slow wean ie: water retention, mood swings, sleeplessness. Definately agree w/other posts: go very slow & under your dr's supervision! Could take months to wean off. I wish you well! Hugs, Cheryl
Guest guest
I've read a few times that medicines are the cause of tissue becomeing fibrotic, but haven't looked for further info. I wonder where steriod inhalers would rank on this list. > > I've been on & off steroids numerous times for my lungs & skin; longest > time on 8 months.
