I just took action on this issue and thought you might find it interesting too.

Legislation to keep the DSM-IV definition of autism as opposed to the new DSM-5

Definition, which is supposed to take effect in May 2013. Legislation has been

introduced in New York to keep the DSM-IV wording. Let's see if we can get it

introduced in Texas as well.
