Rt3 happens if you are not converting T4 to T3 properly. At any level.

Then the conversion to RT3 is a given. Also if the body thinks it is

starving it will stop making T3 and start making RT3. Thre are other

instances such as serious illness where the body, to conserve resources,

will stop making T3 and start making RT3.
