Guest guest
Do electronic air cleaners make ozone??? A pop up ad for Trane for their new 'Clean Effects' system got me reading up on it. It said it had the 'lowest air flow drop' for the amount of cleaning it does due to it's new type of super efficient electronic air cleaner, trapping 99.98% of particles, WITHOUT cost of replacing filters. Looking over the specs, it says only 5 ppb of ozone generated and I am wondering where the ozone is coming from. I have an old electronic air cleaner on my heating/air conditioning system here. http://trane.com/Residential/Products/AirCleaners/CleanEffects.aspx
