Guest guest
It's time for you to monitor your indoor %RH. To prevent mold growth, maintain <50%RH throughout your home. During wet cool weather in a green grass climate, you need 90 pints of dehumidification per 2,500 sqft. of living space. Ideally, you also need 50-75 cfm of fresh clean make-up air ventilation when the home is occupied. This pruges indoor pollutants and renew oxygen. In addition to controlling mold, other biologicals like dust mites are also eliminated from your home. <50%RH also makes your home more comfortable at warmer temperatures. This a job for special high efficiency dehumidifiers that are a notch up from typical residiental dehus. > > We had mold in our brand new house that we built a couple of years > ago.
