Mold seems to be everywhere

We had mold in our brand new house that we built a couple of years

ago. I started getting migraines everytime I walked into our finished

basement. I knew something was wrong down there and ended up having

the carpet ripped out to see what was going on. Some of the wooden

baseboards under the carpet, the ones they nail the carpet to had had

at some point in time a ton of water dumped on them and there was black

mold on the wood. We took it our, laid tile and the problem was

fixed.

We have since built another house that had a roof leak after the carpet

was laid and I now can smell mold in two rooms. We had an inspector

come out and check and he said he found nothing, but I know for sure

that there is mold behind the wall. What do ya do... I am highly

sensitive to all smells and now only use chemical free cleaning

products in the house and it has made a huge difference in the amount

of migraines I have.
