Sadly, there is still no one good solution, though sometimes some chemicals work for some people. I'd strongly advise against using bleach. In fact, the best thing would be to store the most important items at some place (e.g. separate storage area) so they won't be able to hurt you. Some moldies have observed that if contaminated items are stored for about 5 years and all their surfaces are exposed to air then they should lose their toxicity.
