We just take our Sharps container back to the hospital for exchange when it

is full. No matter what container you use, it seems that you could do that.

You may even get a free Sharps container like we did.

The official law where I live is that even if you put your old needles in a

sharps container, you would then have to fill up that container with plaster

of paris or some kind of solid matrix. Now tell me, how many people are

going to do that!

I accumulate mine in an old plastic bottle and take 'em to the local recycle

depot when it's full.

Louie,

I too put the cap back on then put the syringes in a coffee can. When the

can is full, I put the cover on it and put it in the trash. Recommended by

the Doc. here.
