Diane, a friend of mine form Texas, Marcie has been taking them since March

2005 starting at 30 grams and ending Jan 3, 2007 at 72 grams and was every 4

weeks. The company cancelled her insurance as she was going up to 78 grams, so

being without it now her health is deteriorating rapidly. what was the level of

your IgG Quant , how low did your levels drop to. From Darlene and Marcie

Hello everyone: I was wondering if any of you here have had

Immunoglobulin IV therapy. I got my IGG report back today and my levels

are under range again (SO disappointing). At the moment the clinic is

doing IG injections but the IV's have been recommended. They are a

whopping $2,600.00 a piece if you can believe that! It seems to me that

somewhere I read they can be a problem to some people. If anyone here

has done them I would love your input. Thanks in advance. Diane

Darlene, I thought Marcie got SSD and was covered. Are they not

paying for this now?

Barb, I told Marcie what you had said, and Marcie's reply to you is: First off,

I am on SSD, did not get meidcare coverage until July 1, 2007 and did not get

prescription coverage until Aug 1, 2007. When I tried to find another place to

go back to get an infusion, I found out that the Texas Board is only allocating

certain amounts of IgG so that pretty much left me out, keep in mind I need 78

grams every four weeks so the people that are taking the highest get bumped once

you loose your slot. I have checked all over her city and there are no openings

in any infusion centers period. Now, does that answer your question, it sure

pissed me off. Thanks Marcie (db) This is because Marcie has no PC and she is

in bed.
