State Sen. Steve Faris, D-Malvern, moved a hearing on the effects of illegal immigration after telling the room some mold got on his suit. Lawmakers held their hearing in another room at the state Capitol. Natasha Naragon, a spokeswoman for the secretary of state's office, said the mold came after a drip pan full of water sat in the closed conference room during the recent heat hitting Arkansas. She said workers cleaned up the mold and opened windows to get more air in the room. " With the room being closed up, there wasn't circulation, " Naragon said.
