She told the News she can suffer these fits up to seven times a day. They have been escalating as the dampness has gotten worse. Up until four months ago her flat, where she has lived for 14 years, seemed fine. Then suddenly mould started to appear in her bedroom. She complained to the council but said until yesterday (Tuesday) they had not been round to carry out any work. said: " I have been complaining to the council since May but nothing has been done to fix the dampness problem. " The damp in my bedroom has been getting worse and worse and blue mould now covers my walls, furniture and even my quilt. All my belongings are in black bags to try to prevent them from being ruined. " It has also been affecting my chest and overall health by causing seizures. The other week I had seven seizures in one day. " has become so sickened with living in the damp flat that she has put her name on the housing transfer list. She added: " The damp has started to spread out of my bedroom and is now on the walls in my hall and also in my bathroom which I just had fitted by the council. " The smell in the flat is unbearable. " However, the council deny this is the case. A council spokeswoman said: " The council refutes the allegations that there has been no response to complaints. Over the last few weeks a number of repairs have been carried out to Miss Bogle's property. " Following an inspection on August 23 the council instructed and Starling, our specialist contractor, to undertake the removal and reinstatement of plasterwork in the bathroom and hall cupboards. This work will begin on October 2 and Miss Bogle has been advised of this. " The council has received an application form for a transfer of housing and this will be dealt with in terms of the allocation policy, " the spokeswoman concluded.
