Guest guest
Yes, I was getting the government rate of 30 cents a minute through the City of . Really cool during months when it was rarely used. Had one phone bill for about $1! However, Texas A & M does not allow staffers to get cellphones using government rates unless it is paid for by the department directly. This cuts out using cell phones for personal use. *grumble* annette hallmark <<snip>> Annette I don't ever want to be ordered to carry a pager or cell phone again, cause I am 400 or so shifts from retiring for the 4th time, and my off time is WAY too important to me. Further I am aware that your finances might be a little slow, with your husband battling his dipshit former dept. However if you have Cellular One in your area, they have government rates for cell phones. I work for the University of California, Bezerkeley and Cell One, gives us free cell phones (Noikas) and service for $17 @ month, with a large coverage area and 500 free minutes a month during off hours. I think other cell phone companies have similar offers. Rich 1010WC
Guest guest
Ya know, Rich, you're right!!! I'm wondering if this is something the government entity has to set up. I'll check with Houston Cellular to see if they have anything available like this... Sometimes it just takes another person to look at something.... I feel stupid.... I miss my cell phone!!!!! annette <snip>> Last I looked, you husband is a government employee. Love
