this is interesting, I read a abstract in tox.sci. on oak dust. they

deturmined that prople with allergies had a ensinophil responve and

without allergies, it was a neutrophil responce caused by irritants.

pretty much proves that irritants cause neutrophil responce if your

dont have allergies. and dead neutrophils come out in urine.

mycotoxins are also irritants.

What they don't mention is that things like mold CAUSE atopy.

They CAUSE sensitization.

They say stuff like this and people think they mean something other than

what they really mean.

Readers think this means that environmental toxins or other 'allergens'

don't cause asthma. Actually, its quite the opposite. And studies have shown

the CAUSAL connections between things like mold and allergies and asthma

again and again.

What IS going on is that doctors and laypeople DESCRIBE the term 'allergy'

differently..

That is really, really important to understand this issue.. Its deceptive

exploitation of this lack of knowledge when the media harps this story up

and doesn't mention the other studies. (which is what they do)
