Guest guest
Dolly,I hear you. Insurance has rarely paid for the things that our son has needed over the years. Even going to the ER (which we had to do many many times was a 500 dollar deductible every time we had to go. The broad spectrum antibiotics he would need for aggressive infections was " tier one " and not covered by insurance. A tiny bottle cost between 500 and 600 dollars. 10.5 years of repeat infections cost us our life savings for what insurance didn't cover. Ethan's dental bill from when he had to go to the ER was about 10, 000 not covered by insurance. Thank God for Grotto. they picked everything up insurance didn't cover. All we had to do to get on Grottos was show our son's diagnosis from his doctor. then we got a Grottos number and that has been it, so long as we go to a Grotto provider. Look at the website and keep it in mind. We have been on Grottos for many years now and have never been surprised by a bill for dental stuff. It has been one bright spot in this maze of medical mahem.
