To all Brothers and Sisters of the headset,

Welcome to the Fraternal Order of Public Safety Communicators group at

eGroups. This group is for all Public Safety Dispatchers, Telecommunicators

and Call Takers. Since the Fraternal Order of Police refuse to recognize,

represent and allow full active memberships for Public Safety

Telecommunicators, it has been brought to my attention a fraternal

organization is needed to give unity and support for all Public Safety

Communications Personnel across the United States. This is a place to start

and grow, a infant wanting to be born. At this time anyone subscribing to

this group must be a active Public Safety Telecommunicator, Dispatcher, Call

Taker, training organization or equipment providers. Each person must

provide employment information for validation to join. This group is not

limited to only those with computers and email capability but all Public

Safety Communications Workers. At this time there are no dues but just

information gathering and suggestions for all interested. This group is in

no way attempting to take from the 911 Console, PSTC, 911Dispatch or other

similar groups but start a grass roots Fraternal Organization and grow from

the information coming out of these other groups. At this time, this group

will be for the organizing and birth of this new organization and daily

discussions left to other groups. Those subscribing to this group will be

just for information purposes of those interested in this new organization.

Please be sure to send the following information;

Your Name, Your job title, Agency Name, Agency Address, Agency Phone, Agency

Fax and Agency URL/Email address if you have one. (If you wish you can

provide your home address and phone if you like but it is not required.)
