The 8th Annual Walk for Autism San  GUINNESS WORLD RECORD 

8TH ANNUAL WALK FOR AUTISM SATURDAY, APRIL 14, 2012 AT & T CENTER  SOMBRILLA The 8th Annual Walk for Autism San is the current Guinness World Record holder for largest charity walk category! Thank you San for being a part of our commUNITY! 

We strive in making your Walk for Autism event enjoyable and educational for everyone! This year we have made some changes based on your input. The Walk for Autism has some great additions like fire safety educational material presented by the San Fire Department. We have expanded our kid?s activity area to include more activities adapted for anyone with a unique learning ability so everyone can participate. 

Any Body Can, our health and wellness program, will be on-hand to demonstrate easy ways that all families can stay fit. Blue Cat PIES, our educational curriculum, will be available for everyone to try. We continue to provide a Resource Fair with over 50 local resources from our community. We also have great raffle items that include a Diamond Pendant from Americus Diamond! 

Proceeds from the Walk for Autism help in funding our Reaching Families Facing Autism program, a free program offered to the San and surrounding community that offers parent education, counseling, education groups, mom?s night out, haircuts, resource guide, and much more. The autism program is offered in our San and New Braunfels offices but with your help we will have the ability to expand to Kendall and Bandera counties. 

We are all one family with one goal. We are all for inclusion, awareness and education. We are all one commUNITY! Camino De Esperanza has partnered with local and national artists to create one of a kind pieces that are up for auction! This year they are estimating a total of 50 pieces for the Camino de Esperanza silent auction. To view the auction pieces visit Camino De Esperanza!
