Guest guest
My house was not the original source of my problem, but eventually I reacted there also. My problem developed from a moldy HVAC system in my workplace. After a few years of increasing sensitization, I realized I would cough whenever my furnace came on. I turned off the water supply to the furnace humidifier and the coughing dropped significantly. I later started coughing again. I replaced the pleated paper filters with new ones labeled antimicrobial. The coughing again stopped. Major water intrusion problems can be a significant concern, and thankfully I never had these. But simple things can also become significant, as my experience showed. Of course it could be that those who manage it then get well and drop off of this list, but thought I would ask.
