We will look at how, when it comes to self acceptance, we so often treat others with greater kindness than we do ourselves. To help cultivate an attitude of compassion and honesty, participants will be invited to slow down and engage in a process of self exploration and integration. We will be using mindfulness practices such as Kripalu and LifeForce Yoga, artwork, writing and sharing to better connect to a non-dualistic sense of ourselves in which we can rest and appreciate all that we are. Participants are asked to bring an object that represents " feeling safe in the face of challenge " . Also, please bring a yoga mat (if you have one), a blanket and any other yoga props you might use. We will be writing so bring a journal if you like although paper will be provided. We will be lying down on the floor for extended periods of time for those who are able. Chairs will also be provided for people who prefer to sit.
