Hello Drama Therapists, We're only 6 days away for our last event before our summer hiatus. Come to the event, check out our t-shirts, and learn everything you need to know about getting your RDT from NADTA Education Chair, Heidi Landis!

RDT Application Information Session, June 11, 7:pm-9pm353 West 48th Street, 2nd Floor

Are you submitting for the August 15th deadline to apply for your RDT? Do you have questions about how best to expedite the RDT application process? Join the NADTA Tri-State Chapter on Monday, June 11th for an information session with NADTA Education Chair, Heidi Landis about everything RDT! We have had Heidi join us in the past for information sessions, and she is very thorough and makes the process easy to understand. Whether you are a current student, recent alumni, or new or seasoned professional please join our event to understand the RDT process.

We will be meeting at 353 Studios from 7:15-9:00 pm, located at 353 West 48th Street (between 8th and 9th aves) on the 2nd floor. Look for the signs when you arrive, and please RSVP to our e-mail at tristatechapter@... or at our facebook event page found here... We hope to see you there!

If you're unaware of what or why you might want an RDT. Here's some info for you: A Registered Drama Therapist (RDT) is a Master’s level credential requiring coursework in psychology and drama therapy, experience in theater and supervised internship and work experience. The RDT is a peer reviewed credential in the practice of drama therapy and RDTs are required to follow the NADT Code of Ethics. The RDT is granted by the National Association for Drama Therapy and indicates that one has met the training requirements and achieved competency in the practice of drama therapy.
