Dearest Therapists,

I will be co-facilitating a Creative Arts Therapy group in June at the South

Oxford Space in Brooklyn. This group is being offered to women along the

spectrum of infertility.

NEW PERSPECTIVES ON INFERTILITY THROUGH ART THERAPY:

Using creativity to explore women's spiritual, physical and emotional obstacles

in a supportive, healing environment.

Facilitated by Creative Arts Therapists Candace Rivela, MPS, ATR-BC, LCAT and

Christannia Betonte, BA, MPS.

June 7th, 14th, 21st, & 28th 2012

As members of the group, female participants will have the opportunity to:

·Practice mindfulness and body awareness through art making

·Gain a sense of community amongst others who can empathize with thier

particular challenges and frustrations

·Gather insight and perspective on their own situations

·Develop a network of women with whom they can share tips, suggestions, and

resources

·Reduce feelings of overwhelming grief, longing, depression, isolation and

anxiety
