Guest guest Posted February 5, 2012 Report Share Posted February 5, 2012 Pamela, When an egroup member's email account has been hacked spam email messages go out to that person's contact list. I cannot anticipate this happening but can remove the person who was hacked from the egroup, but usually it's too late by the time the person has realized they have been hacked and have corrected the situation on their end. Yahoo groups does filter spam messages but some still get through. With almost 1,400 people on this egroup I'm just glad it does not happen more often. Take care, Chriss > have we indeed been hacked?
