So far, 11 employees have filed claims with some more to come. And one of the Board members is suggesting that maybe they should just bail out. He stated that he saw problems on those floors right after he was elected in 2002. And there is also a report made to CalPERS in 1998 when they owned the building, talking about problems at that time.
