Guest guest
Daughter teacher room in basement, she went to work in her room w- end before school was to start, working in her room , another teacher came and told her that they had found mold on her carpet in her room, it was cleaned (we dont know how), mold on tables and chairs cleaned with bleach. I watch my daughter two sons, I started having some old mold symptoms come back when she would pick up kids, she would sit on carpet in game room, very foul odor on her clothes, my husband and I told her , but she does not believe us , we told her she is contaimating my house and her house bringing this stuff home on her clothes. She and other teacher filed a complaint, district sent (mold expert) out he did not look at carpet pulll it back or look for possible signs, Stated no mold, then 3 days later came back with someone else from district, during school day kids in room, she had to leave room with the kids, told her they were spraying carpet, they would have to stay off for 1 hour. Supposedly a mold killing spray.( A Triad not sure of spelling) they will spray 1 a week left with janitor. Before they sprayed my daughter was ill with a respitaroy problem, she still having problem, she had type 1 diabetes day they sprayed she had a very bad heahache , nausea. District back looking behind her cubbies on wall, put a dehumifier in room, told her they would have to leave air conditioning on , but they have been shutting off. Humidity level is her room is 70%, I think it should be 60% and below? She is starting not to think maybe something wrong. she contacted her union rep. he is coming mon or tues, My opinion, schoold was wrong to not notify her of problem, then not even try to address the issue, until teachers file complaint, and the district is just trying to cover it up, Oh just bacteria, will spray and that will take care of it.
