, Sounds so familiar. When you say black mold I will assume you are

refering to stackybotrus (however you spell it)? Have you had any test done to

show what kind of mold you are refering to? This is only my opinion but from

what I can tell, if you have that mold around more than likely you have others

as well. Anyway I will tell you what I have found out from my exposure to stacky

and others. I was told the same as what you have been told in the begining as

well and worse but the bronchitis thing is like saying you have a stuffy nose

when its really the fllu. I was told that only to find out later after a

broncoscopy that it was Bronchiectasis which is a whole nother thing and is most

likely caused by aspergillus but could be others I supose. I am still waiting on

those results. Are you caughing up any dark or even colored stuff? I know you

said dry. That is what got me sent for the broncoscopy. Like you alergy tests

were normal, TB was normal,(Ha, negitive that is) I

had to use the inhaler blah blah. None of that worked. Turned out my sinus

problems were caused by 2 forms of staph also caused by the toxins. My

suggestion is that since they have said bronchitis see if you can find a

pulminologist in your area that has an inderstanding about fungus (use that

word) They really exsist. and go see him. They will or can give you a breathing

test and possibly the broncoscopy. I won't lie, these tests cost around 10

thousand dol;lors, at least they did me but I believe I now know what is really

wrong with me as far as those symptems go. You may need to be refered by your

primary care??

Also I am wondering what kind of blood test did you have done? that is really

where it all needs to start but the tests are specific. They more than likeley

are not on your normal list of blood tests. See if that helps get you started

and let us know if you have any other questions.

I've been exposed to black mold at work for the last 7 years. During

this time, nothing has been done and quite a few people have been

sick with not surprisingly the same symptoms. Several people have

contacted WC, but WC has denied the claim so know we have an attorney

working with us on this. We are now what I'm thinking will be in a

lengthy litiagation case with our employer. My question is this:

I have have recently had a chest x-rays done and they have been

normal. I just had blood work done today so will not get the results

back. I also had a skin test done for allergys today and it was

normal. My symptoms have been going on since I started 7 years ago

and have consisted of: constant headaches, occasional bloody nose,

running nose, chronic dry cough that doesn't go away (I've been TB

tested as well with negative results), itchy/red eyes, wheezing and

shortness of breath. I have recently been diagnosed with chronic

asthma and have had in the past bouts of colds/flus that always end

up with bronchitis that is now asthmatic.

My foundation medical acts like toxic mold is really nothing more

than people's over-reacting to normal aging and allergie symptoms, so

I'm not really getting any help there.

What more can be done here. I'm now on Albutural and use it 3 to 4

times weekly and recently placed on Qvar medications. What else

should I look into or how can I convince these people that this is

serious?

-7-- years???????????????? please read the book Mold Warriors by Dr

Shoemaker-normal blood panels will show nothing, my Dr was still

scratching her head trying to figuer out what was killing me when I

made the diagnosis myself. She even knew Dr Shoemaker and his work

and still could not connect the dots. Mold damage can be permanent,

no job is worth the hell I go through every day. save yourself. If

you were in a sinking ship, would you worry about sueing the trip

organizers, or finding out if the engineers did something wrong in

designing the boat? NO!!! you would put on a life jacket, get your but

in a life boat, and get off the sinking ship-enough said.
