MRI of the cervical and thorasic spine-NCC

Can anyone tell me approx how long this one takes. My neurologist has ordered

one of these and I was just curious. The techs always try to give you an approx

time, but they were off last time by about 30 minutes or so. 30 minutes is not

that big of a deal while in a wating room, but in that boring little tube it can

be. We are looking for a syrinx (finally). I am just so tired of hearing that

my Chiari is not that big. How I do not look all that compressed or tight in

there. Oh well, I guess it comes with the territory.

I have been put on Aleve 1-2 every 8 hours. It has not been helping yet. Has

anyone had any luck with over the counter meds (taken at regular intervals)?
