Guest guest
Until we know that NO moldy grain, corn or wheat is MIXED IN with clean foodstuffs it might be prudent not to use them at all. >>> This is feasible impossible. There have been some reports that recently surfaced and also the evening news, that only about 1/3 of our crops and grains are tested for these toxins. The FDA had acknowledged this and they are severely short-handed and are unable to test not only the crops within the US, but you can only imagine the amount that is released to the general public from imports. Even though this is a whole different subject I don't believe that there is a website large enough, capable of holding all this information concerning contaminated foodstuffs from the amount of info that I receive. There are many crops across the country that are continuously fighting fungal contamination and new mutations that they have not dealt with before. I think the chemical industry has created basically many new mutations by the fungicides that are continously sprayed on crops. > > Until we know that NO moldy grain, corn or wheat is MIXED IN with clean foodstuffs it might be prudent not to use them at all. Sounds harsh, but the FDA cannot be trusted to ensure a clean food supply - the EPA can't be trusted to ensure the environment where it is prepared is clean - people have to make their own decisions about what they buy and eat. Pretty sad state of affairs. > > dcbeth@... a écrit : An interesting report all around, one of the recommendations (in Chapter 12) > is to " minimise exposure to aflatoxins from mouldy cereals (grains) or > pulses (legumes).
