mold and ear infection?

Hope,

In my opinion many have experienced many type of infections, including

ear infections either during or after an exposure. Even without this

type of exposure many kids for some reason today are experiencing this

type of infection or it is often called, " swimmer's ear. " I have

obtained many articles pertaining to this infection, some that are

written by physicians. Their recommendation for treatment and

preventation is white vinegar. Many times they are treated as a

bacterial infection, when in fact the majority of the time it is

fungal, aspergillus niger. I am not a doctor, but by personal

experience on my own children and grandchildren, the white vinegar

worked every time. Normally just one treatment, several drops in the

ear. Most likely you will see a results quickly just after one

treatment.

Since I am not a doctor I would not recommend this if tubes have been

inserted. I am not aware of this type of procedure. So please use at

your own discretion. I have never had any problems using this type of

treatment, even at 6 months old. Some families that have had

continuous bouts with their children could not believe the results and

now use it once a month as a prevention.

I have also found it works many times for skin irritations, cuts and

it will sting for a short time in an open wound, but it definately

speeds up the healing process.

Hope -

I don't mean to be lame, but I've got to state this for the sake of the list

just in case anyone is unclear about this...

You do realize that if it's a fungal infection, the antibiotics likely won't do

diddly squat because they are meant to cure bacterial infections rather than

fungal ones... If the prescription was intended to address fungal infections it

would be called anti-fungal rather than antibiotic. Many Americans don't get

the distinction.

KC knows of what he speaks.

Hope,

Thanks Haley, I forgot to mention that. Learning from experience

from nephews that have been on antibodics and steroids for years to

treat ear infections. The infection went away and then came right

back. The white vinegar antifungal/antibacterial and if you don't

see a results within a day or two, see your physician. It should

help stop the acke, burning and itching almost immediately. As

always use caution. I've always used it straight with never any

problems.

The doctor just said it is a mild ear infection, cleaned up my plugged ears, and

I can hear again from my left ear. However, the left ear has about 80 percent of

hearing according to the hearing test. So, the doctor wants to do another test

in two months.

He said, it has nothing to do with mold?!
