Guest guest
What bothers me is that now she actually owes more than when she started. I suppose that gets the message across " YOU CAN'T WIN IN THIS GAME SO DON'T TRY " I read last year that some think tank has organized a nonprofit to press for a national law to make insurance companies legally required to have to go after lawsuit winnings 'to lower costs'. Obviously thie would have a chilling effect on product liability and personal injury lawsuits of all kinds. Its some group that hates trial lawyers and is involved in the whole 'tort reform' disinfo campaign.. They are a big donor to related causes, I forget their name.. The article about it was on the ATLA site.. Maybe we could all move somewhere (not a desert island, though, because they are all disappearing) and start a new country....
